One afternoon in December 2018, a resident of Saint-Chéron, in Essonne, discovered dumbfounded when she opened her door a young man covered in blood, in his underwear and looking for help.
Seriously injured in the head, suffering from multiple burns, he was placed in an artificial coma.
When he wakes up, he reveals to the investigators that he was kidnapped from the car garage where he works as an apprentice, then taken by car to the basement of a building. There, his three attackers make him drink hydrochloric acid and beat him.
A neighbor surprised by the noise, the kidnappers take their victim to a field, he continues.
Repeated violence
He then received two flashball shots in the head, probably at close range, tear gas in the face, blows from a wrench to the skull and then was doused with gasoline before being set on fire. His statements are confirmed by medical examinations.
Among the three attackers, two of whom were just adults at the time of the events, the teenager formally recognizes the actor Saïd Bogota, 28, whom he designates as the sponsor of the ambush. "He saw my face, he knows me, he must be killed," Said Bogota allegedly shouted while molesting the teenager, describes the latter.
During his various hearings, the actor admitted some of the violence but denied having wanted to kill. It was just a question of "putting pressure" on the young man so that he left his girlfriend, an ex-girlfriend of Saïd Bogota.
Currently in pre-trial detention, the actor with a clean criminal record must appear for kidnapping, forcible confinement and attempted murder, alongside three other men.
"In this case, the intention to kill will be at the heart of the debates, as well as the particularly interesting personality of this actor who is very popular with the general public", analyzes his lawyer, Me Sarah Mauger-Poliak, for AFP .
The jurors will also have to determine the responsibility of each in the abuse inflicted on the victim, the versions of the defendants not agreeing.
The verdict is expected early next week.

So says Pierre-Yves Rolland, Rouen city councilor delegated to the East sector about Mont-Gargan, this district nestled on a side of the Sainte-Catherine coast. A situation that is not to displease Anis, this father of Danish origin aged 45, crossed not far from the Jules-Ferry school. "It's true that the only business in the area, the bakery, closed a few years ago, but it's so easy to get to Piazza San Marco. We are very well served by buses, ”says this night-working cyclist. An opinion not shared by Ajjabi, 30 years old, father of 4 children and tunneller the week in Paris where he sometimes sleeps. He points to a public park, the only one in the neighborhood, too small and some games in which would be dangerous.
Diversity but no commerce
"At 4 o'clock, everyone rushes to the park", confirms the director of the nursery school which welcomes 91 children (the elementary school in counts 120), but for whom Mont-Gargan is the "best district of Rouen", with its village spirit. “A substitute teacher at the school, who has been to a lot of schools in Rouen, told me that it is in Mont-Gargan that we find the most social mix. it is one of the rare places in Rouen where we still have social diversity, ”abounds Pierre-Yves Rolland. While waiting for Ajjabi, installed in social housing, there is a lack of shops. “I have to go to Saint-Sever. "It's a shame that there isn't at least one bakery," admits the director. Currently, a baker comes to sell his bread at the MJC every Friday.
Roads at the heart of attention
On the state of the roads, on the other hand, it is convergence. "It's a disaster for pedestrians", judges a teacher from the school, who arrived recently. “When the cars are parked, you cannot pass with a stroller”. "The road system needs to be reviewed everywhere, almost all the most heavily used sections", confirms Pierre-Yves Rolland, who indicates that it will be the subject of work, in particular the streets of Repainville, du Progrès, Annie-de-Penne and that of Mont-Gargan. “The sidewalks are not wide enough, but to redo them you have to remove parking spaces. We want to facilitate soft mobility, and more and more people are using bicycles, we have to take this into account. »
The renovated park, the school on standby
The road leading to the Sainte-Catherine panorama, without sidewalks, sees many vehicles passing, sources of noise pollution and insecurity. “All this requires exchanges and consultations. The issues are multiple, we are moving forward as quickly as we can,” he continues. The playground is going to be renovated. The school also needs thermal renovation but “it is still awaiting arbitration among 130 municipal buildings”.
