Who are you, what is your background and what is your role in the project?

I am Mélissa Zitouni, the co-founder of LOLO PARIS, the first digital brand of made-to-measure lingerie . With my partner, Océane Brière, we are industrial engineers. We met 10 years ago during our studies, and after several years of experience in the fashion and digital world, we decided to create together an innovative lingerie brand that sublimates women while respecting the planet. .

Can you tell us about your project?

Because we were tired of uncomfortable and badly fitting underwear and swimsuits, we used new technologies to bring comfort and quality to all women.

Thanks to an algorithm based on 9 measurements taken on the body, LOLO PARIS designs pieces of lingerie and swimsuits perfectly adapted to women's morphologies.

After selling thousands of bras, we have just launched the 1st custom-made one-piece swimsuit for pre-order. We have developed 30 swimsuit sizes, an average of 6 times more than traditional swimsuits. No more S-M-L size system!

Why did you decide to embark on this adventure?

With Océane, we share the same feminist, ecological and human values, and we wanted to use our technical skills to develop useful and innovative products .

In 2018, both embarrassed in our bras, we wonder about the current size system. Could we do better? Without knowledge of the world of lingerie, it is a real challenge that we have chosen to take up.

A questionnaire and 500 women questioned later, the result is clear: 78% of women face discomfort problems in their lingerie and 42% of them have difficulty finding their bra size- groove in existing brands. A real scourge for a product worn almost every day by 50% of the population!

What message do you want to convey through your action?

We want to allow women to no longer feel restricted in their underwear, and no longer have to choose between the beautiful, the comfort and the eco.

We also want to change society's view of the female body and reconcile women with their image. Thanks to our tailor-made concept, our underwear adapts to women, and not the other way around.

And your commitments to the environment?

Our approach is also ecological. At LOLO PARIS, we strongly believe in "less but better!" ". Our materials come from France, Italy and Spain and are all Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certified. Our laces and bath materials are made from recycled fibers. We use existing textiles or plastic waste melted and converted into fibers to make new materials. Our confection is 100% European. We work with a Polish cooperative in which seamstresses have good working conditions. And finally, we manufacture in pull flow, in particular with a pre-order system to limit overstocks.
