The Draga Bosna Festival is part of the continuity of the three successful editions of the NSK meeting Grenoble, devoted to the dramatic implosion of Yugoslavia which at the same time sees the Slovenian avant-garde of the NSK ("Neue Slowenische Kunst"Let" new Slovenian art "in German) fly to the aid of the civil society of Sarajevo besieged from 1992 to 1995.One of those moments when in historical chaos was born a sublime artistic language, a form of political art at the service of resistance.This new "meeting in Bosnia and Herzegovina" to which the Grenoble Ciné-Club invites us from October 12 to 16, also wants to be disruptive with its intention to "twist the prejudices".If this all-public festival will not avoid expected themes (war, identity, memories, complex political relationships between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the European Union), it will lead our gaze even more on artistic vitality andcultural that the country has never stopped having for 25 years by proposing cinema, exhibitions, conferences and meetings.
