After months of deprivation and distancing that imposed on us because of the health crisis, the city of Muret has chosen to place the cultural season 2021-2022 under the emblem of "poetizing the city".Through this unifying theme, we want to offer dreamlike reunions and take another look at everything that surrounds us.Because it does not come down to a poem in verse and rhymes, poetry can irrigate our lives and allow us to live our city differently.When she is song, photo, drawing, graffiti, land art, ... poetry becomes the link that weaves the times and places of our lives together, nourished by meetings and discoveries in great cultural diversity and expression.These intentions will translate concretely to Muret thanks to this common thread and the mobilization of many partners.Thus, beyond choice of programming placed under the seal of poetry, poets will invest our city thanks to two residences of artists organized by the PJE with the support of the city.Poetry will also irrigate the lives of municipal cultural establishments throughout the season.Workshops, meetings, interventions in the streets, squares and gardens of the city will succeed one another as many meetings open to all thanks to the mobilization of municipal services and many Muretaine associations.Students of nursery and primary schools, as well as middle school students and Lycéens de Muret will also take their share in this gathering of poetic energy.
