TEDx Rennes 2021 conferences: the three innovative ideas for this new school year

Saturday September 25, at Liberté, the TEDx Rennes 2021 event is being held during which 11 speakers will present their innovative ideas with the aim of improving our society.

Ideas to change the world. This is the stated objective for this 10th edition of TEDxRennes, which is being held on Saturday September 25, 2021, at Liberté, in Rennes.

Nearly 11 speakers will be present to give innovative ideas on various themes ranging from the environment to digital technology, including incarceration in prison and sexuality.

The visible effects of global warming

On the environmental side, Rennes navigator Vincent Grison will share his memories of his trip to the North Pole with the public. The opportunity above all to share your observations on the already visible consequences of global warming.

In August 2021, Vincent Grison explained for Actu Rennes his plan to continue his educational work with the schools of Rennes.

The dangers of incarceration in prison

Another more original theme: prison. After seven years of detention, Arbi Madhaj will recount his time in prison with the aim of keeping young people away from delinquency.

To achieve this, Arbi is full of ideas. At liberty, he will present to the public his educational support in the form of a game, which he imagined during his solitary confinement in a cell.

An equally unusual topic: contraceptive methods for men. Saturday, September 25, Erwan Taverne, co-founder of the Action and Research Group for Contraception (Garcon), will present the different so-called male methods.

Erwan Taverne will report on his particular case by explaining what the “thermal method” is as a means of contraception.

The 2021 TEDx event is almost sold out but there are still a few places available to attend. Two identical sessions are scheduled at 3:00 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. for a 2:30 show.
