Thunderbolt in the French horse racing world. Monday May 10, Pierre-Charles Boudot and Pierre Bazire, two jockeys, were taken into custody in Chantilly (Oise). They were heard by investigators about a rape committed last February in Cagnes-sur-Mer (Alpes-Maritimes). This Wednesday, May 12, Jean-Baptiste Bladier, prosecutor at the judicial court of Senlis (Oise) announced their indictment.

There are therefore serious and concordant indications for the investigators against the two athletes in this case. The charges retained are "rape" for Pierre-Charles Boudot and "non-denunciation of a crime" for Pierre Bazire. They were placed under judicial control pending their judgment.

Both are also placed under the status of assisted witness. On the count of “witness tampering” for Pierre-Charles Boudot and “non-prevention of crime” for Pierre Bazire.
